The limestone is masterfully carved and shaped with the most intriguing designs such as the dragon faces and spiral columns. It is a masterpiece with fine carved limestone adorning the walls, together with fine blue ceramis tiles along the stairway wall creating a whole mural theme of dom Joao III in battle.
